Paragraph Organization Strategies (Professional)

Reviewer's Note: Look for "Anchor Sentences." The first sentence is usually a general statement, while the last is often a conclusion or a call to action. Linking pronouns (He, She, They, This) are your best clues for sequence.

In this section, you are given a set of jumbled sentences and asked to arrange them in the most logical order.

Sa madaling salita: Kailangan mong ayusin ang mga nagulong pangungusap para makabuo ng isang maayos na kwento o paragraph.

Strategy for Solving

  1. Find the Topic Sentence (Independent Sentence):

    • This sentence introduces the main idea.
    • It can stand alone. (Hindi ito nagsisimula sa However, Therefore, Also).
    • Hack: Hanapin ang pangungusap na pwedeng tumayo mag-isa. Karaniwan itong general statement.
  2. Find the Concluding Sentence:

    • Look for words like Finally, In conclusion, Thus, In summary.
    • Hack: Hanapin ang pangungusap na nagtatapos ng kwento o nagbibigay ng summary.
  3. Group Related Sentences (Internal Links):

    • Chronological: Look for time markers (First, Next, Then).
    • Pronoun Reference: If Sentence A mentions "Dr. Jose Rizal" and Sentence B says "He", then B follows A.
    • Hack: Tingnan ang mga "clue" na salita. Kung may binanggit na pangalan sa una, ang kasunod ay malamang gumagamit na ng "He" o "She".
  4. Check the Options:

    • Check the options to eliminate wrong choices quickly.
    • Hack: Tingnan ang mga choices. Kung sigurado ka na sa unang sentence, i-eliminate na ang choices na iba ang simula.
